About The company

The company, formerly known as Mega Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd, was incorporated in 1983 in accordance with the Insurance Act, 1963.

Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB) acquired in 1997. Bank Negara Malaysia granted the company a Takaful Broking License in 2006.

Today, PNSB Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd (PIBSB) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad, which is one of the investment arms of the Selangor State Government. With a paid-up capital of RM 2,476,646.00, PIBSB is regarded as one of the insurance broking firms that has strong financial backing. Coupled with continuous support of its parent company, i.e., PNSB, and the Selangor State itself, the company has in the past decade provided exemplary insurance services and risk management solutions to government-linked companies, government departments, and corporate entities.

PIBSB places a very strong emphasis on service commitment and assisting our clients in understanding their risk exposures. The collective knowledge and experience of our senior management has placed PIBSB in an advantageous position that definitely surpasses our clients’ expectations.

Moving forward, the company is embarking on involvement in larger, more complex risks. PIBSB has now put in place necessary resources and is steadily building up bigger leverage in the insurance market.
